PENDLETON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man has died after crashing his motorcycle on a western New York road.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred around 9 p.m. Sunday on Meyer Road in the town of Pendleton, 15 miles northeast of Buffalo.

Deputies say the man was traveling east when he failed to handle a curve due to excessive speed. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died on impact.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
