Man, woman found shot to death in Oxnard were husband, wife

OXNARD, Calif. (AP) - Neighbors say a man and a woman found shot to death at their home in a quiet neighborhood of Oxnard were husband and wife.

The Ventura County medical examiner’s office says autopsies are planned this week for 35-year-old Sinia Lemus and 47-year-old Saul Lemus.

The couples’ bodies were found by police Saturday afternoon.

Detectives said Sunday the deaths are being investigated as homicides. Officials did not name a possible motive.

Neighbors tell the Ventura County Star newspaper (https://bit.ly/1ThyURo) that the couple had two children.
