DENVER (AP) - The Douglas County Coroner’s Office has identified two men who died in a crash that killed three people on Interstate 25 south of Larkspur.

The coroner’s office is not identifying the third victim in the Friday night crash because he was only 15. The other victims are Valentine “Timothy” Baca and Simon Gene Mejia, both 40 years old.

Trooper Josh Lewis says the group had been heading north on the highway when their SUV veered off the road and into a culvert near the Greenland interchange.

Investigators say the three victims died at the scene, and none was wearing a seat belt. The state patrol doesn’t believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
