JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State basketball team has added two players.

Head coach Grant McCasland has announced the signing of Jahmiah Simmons of Pace High School in Milton, Florida, and junior college transfer Nelson Nweke of Seminole State College in Oklahoma.

Simmons averaged 15.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as a senior at Pace High School. He will play for the U.S. Virgin Islands junior national team in the FIBA Tournament of Americas in July in Chile.

Nweke averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game at Seminole State and was named to the NJCAA All-Region II team.
