PHOENIX (AP) - Dust storms and thunderstorms are moving through parts of Maricopa County.

The National Weather Service issued a blowing dust advisory for Arizona’s most populous county that was scheduled to be in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Meanwhile, nearly 1,900 customers of Arizona Public Service are without electricity in Buckeye.

APS officials say power was reported out around 5:30 p.m. and isn’t estimated to be restored until 9:30 p.m.

They say repair crews are on scene, but haven’t determined yet if the power outage is weather-related.

Buckeye police posted say traffic lights also are out at some streets in the city.
