PHOENIX (AP) - A worker checking on a southwest Phoenix farm field’s irrigation system late at night spotted a shooting victim who is now hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say the worker called police Monday night after seeing the victim’s arm near a barrier. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say the victim may have been dropped off in the area after being shot elsewhere but that no information was immediately available on a suspect.
No identities were released.
The field is located near Southern and 59th avenues.
