FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota State University head men’s basketball coach David Richman has hired a new assistant.

Will Veasley is the all-time winningest player in Butler history and was a starter on the Bulldogs’ 2010 national runner-up team.

Veasley played professionally for two years in Japan and in the NBA Development League before moving into coaching. He’s served on the Illinois State coaching staff the past three seasons. He was ISU’s video coordinator from 2013-15 and director of basketball operations last season.

The Freeport, Illinois, native also spent one season as the video coordinator at IUPUI.
