GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) - A Greenwood man has died a week after losing control of his mo-ped and crashing it.

Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox tells local media outlets that 62-year-old Jimmy Lee Manley was pronounced dead at a hospital on Monday.

The Highway Patrol says that Manley was thrown from his mo-ped at around 7 p.m. on May 9 as he rode north on U.S. 25. He was not wearing a helmet.

Cox has ruled the death an accident.
