ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Trial for an Aberdeen man accused of stabbing a woman to death has been scheduled for late summer, though the site still hasn’t been finalized.

Thirty-four-year-old John Hemminger is charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Jessica Goebel, who died after being stabbed in January 2015.

Hemminger was to stand trial in Aberdeen this month, but Judge Scott Myren in late April granted a change-of-venue motion from defense attorneys who worried about the ability to seat an unbiased jury in Brown County.

The American News reports (https://bit.ly/1TFWPpU ) that the trial has been scheduled from Aug. 22 to Sept. 7. Myren says the site has yet to be confirmed.
