ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 53-year-old Juneau man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man at a remote southeast Alaska cabin.

Alaska State Troopers say Mark De Simone is charged in the death of 34-year-old Dulio Rosales at Excursion Inlet 35 miles northwest of Juneau and about 10 miles east of Gustavus.

The Coast Guard relayed information on the incident to troopers just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Prosecutors also filed charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide against De Simone.

Online court records did not indicate he is represented by an attorney.

He is jailed at Lemon Creek Correctional Center in Juneau and scheduled for arraignment Tuesday.
