MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Police say an officer was injured when he was hit by a car in a parking lot.

Memphis police spokesman Louis Brownlee said officers were responding to a call about a suspicious person at a business on Monday when the suspect’s black sedan hit and dragged one of the officers.

Brownlee said the officer received minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. The officer has not been identified.

No arrests have been made.
