PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix man accused of child abuse, drug possession, money laundering and other charges has pleaded not guilty in the case.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say 36-year-old Christopher Hustrulid had his arraignment Tuesday.

His next scheduled court date is July 1.

Hustrulid and his girlfriend were arrested last month after county sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at her north-central Phoenix home.

Authorities say Hustrulid signed for a package containing more than 250 grams of Ecstasy.

Undercover detectives and U.S. Postal Inspectors raided the home after the delivery.

Besides finding an active meth lab, detectives reported discovering various drugs, about $7,000 and some counterfeit cash.

Authorities say two children - ages 5 and 9 - live with the couple, but were at daycare at the time of the bust.
