LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - Police in central Pennsylvania are looking for a man charged with aggravated assault in a beating recorded on a cellphone, and say the victim has now died.

For now, 22-year-old Dajour James, of Lancaster, is charged with aggravated assault.

Police say the 45-year-old victim, whose name they are not releasing, was beat in the head with a beer can and dragged across the ground by James.

The victim was taken to Lancaster General Hospital for an apparent brain injury and died Sunday.

Police say they have the cellphone video of the deadly encounter, but were still searching for the suspect.

Lancaster police Detective Captain Mike Winters says the incident is being investigated as a homicide, but results of a Tuesday autopsy will determine whether any more charges will be filed.
