SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Authorities say a San Francisco police officer under investigation for overtime fraud has turned himself in and been booked in county jail.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1V7rKAB ) that police say city prosecutors charged 41-year-old Dean K. Lee with grand theft and four counts of defrauding a government agency.
The district attorney’s office began investigating Lee after a tip from his colleague.
Lee lives in Daly City and is a 15-year veteran of the police force. Officials say he has been suspended without pay.
