SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Prosecutors have dropped an attempted murder charge against a Sioux Falls woman in exchange for her guilty plea to a lesser charge in the stabbing of her husband.
Twenty-four-year-old Mirna Bolbito pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault in the attack of her husband on New Year’s Eve. Police say Bolbito’s 30-year-old husband suffered life-threatening injuries during the dispute over the TV.
The Argus Leader reports (https://argusne.ws/1WBuisr ) that Bolbito faces up to 15 years in prison when she’s sentenced July 19.
