Dover man charged with drug, weapons offenses

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police have arrested a man they say was in possession of marijuana and a handgun.

The department said in a news release that police and probation officers met with 23-year-old Dexter Brown Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say Brown had 5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, and a 9mm handgun was found in his car.

Brown was charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of a firearm by person prohibited, and other offenses.
