ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say a body was found Wednesday in a homeless camp in midtown Anchorage.

Police in a release say the body of a male was found in a camp a short distance away from a home improvement store on Tudor Road.

There was no sign of foul play, and police say the body appeared to have been in the location for an extended period of time.

The state Medical Examiner’s Office took possession of the body and will confirm the person’s identity.
