MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot residents are under water restrictions after two separate water line issues reported in the city.

Officials say one incident was a well line collapse when construction crews hit a line near the water treatment plant. The second issue is a failure at 16th and Central, north of Arrowhead.

The city is restricting excessive water usage from sprinkler systems and lawn watering.

Maintenance crews are working to resolve both issues, and the water ration will be in place until crews can effectively repair the water well lines. No timeline has been set.
