ISLAND POND, Vt. (AP) - A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

It happened Wednesday afternoon in Island Pond.

State police say 29-year-old Tyler Pepin lost control of his motorcycle as he approached a curve. He crossed the centerline and into the path of a van. State police say the driver of the van tried to swerve to avoid hitting him, but his vehicle struck the left side of the motorcycle.
