HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A New Hartford man has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography involving three underage girls.

Federal prosecutors say 31-year-old Daniel Jesse Conrad waived his right to a trial Tuesday and pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography. He faces up to 30 years in prison at sentencing scheduled for Aug. 17.

Conrad exploited the girls between October 2013 and June 2014.

In one case, Conrad took explicit pictures of a 15-year-old Connecticut girl he met online and with whom he had a sexual relationship.

He also persuaded two other 15-year-old girls, one from New York and one from Nebraska, to engage in sexually explicit conduct online which he recorded.

Officials said Conrad had saved 200 images and 52 videos of the victims.
