PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a recent spate of car vandalism turned out to be child’s play.

Police tell WTXF-TV (https://bit.ly/1Ny4yKh ) that two young kids used a rock or some other kind of object to scratch roughly 10 cars in once city block. The vandalism was caught on camera and police now say the kids involved were just 9 and 7 years old.

Pennsylvania law doesn’t allow children 10 and under to be charged with crimes, so police are powerless to prosecute them.

The car owners can file insurance claims or sue the children’s parents to cover thousands of dollars in repairs.

The damage happened over the weekend.
