WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - The city of Williston is asking a judge to reject a request for an injunction against a July 1 deadline for oil field crew camps in city limits to shut down.
Target Logistics and Lodging Solutions sued the city in April, saying they’ve been treated unfairly. They maintain that the city improperly ignored requests last year to extend their workforce housing permits, instead implementing the sunset date.
The Williston Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1WE2fba ) that the city in its response says the two companies have failed to make a case that harm done to them will outweigh the city’s welfare.
A hearing is set for May 31.
