JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Officials say a house fire in New Jersey has left a man dead and two firefighters hurt.

The fire broke out Wednesday evening in Jersey City.

Officials say a 62-year-old man found inside the burning 2 1/2-story multi-family home was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.

It’s unclear how the fire started. The cause is under investigation.
