INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Police say four people have been shot in northeast Indianapolis.

According to local media, police responded to a report of a shooting around 10:30 p.m. and found a person with a gunshot wound near a gas station.

Indianapolis Police Deputy Chief Valerie Cunningham tells WTHR-TV officers heard more shots nearby and started searching the area for other victims. Two more people were found shot on a porch at a home two blocks away, and police say a fourth victim walked to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.

The TV station reports police are investigating as though the four victims are connected. Their conditions were not immediately known.
