SUFFOLK, Va. (AP) - Officials say an SUV has collided with a train in downtown Suffolk, but no life-threatening injuries have been reported.
City of Suffolk officials said in a statement that police are investigating after a Mercedes-Benz ML320 collided with a Norfolk Southern train around 1 a.m. Thursday. The men inside the SUV fled the scene after the crash, but officials say two men found a short distance away with non-life-threatening injuries were taken to a hospital.
No train personnel were injured. Officials say the driver has not been found.
