WEBSTER, S.D. (AP) - Trial is being delayed for a man accused of fatally shooting another man in his Roslyn home.
Forty-four-year-old Jason Lewandowski was to stand trial beginning May 31 in the shooting death of 33-year-old Jeremy Hendrickson late last year.
The American News reports (https://bit.ly/1RaXe1F ) that Lewandowski’s attorney asked for more time to prepare, and the trial will be rescheduled.
Lewandowski has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to charges including premeditated murder.
Hendrickson’s wife told authorities that her husband and Lewandowski had past issues, but no details have been released.
