SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (AP) - One person is dead and two more were injured after a crash in Southington over the weekend.

Police say the car driven by 26-year-old Krista Pikora, of Southington, collided with the car driven by 30-year-old Brandon Caron, of Bristol, just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Caron was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries.

Pikora suffered serious injuries. Her condition wasn’t immediately known.

Caron’s passenger, 26-year-old Kelly Brennan, of Southington, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Southington police.
