LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) - Two people are facing murder charges in connection with a fatal shooting in Gaston, South Carolina.

Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon says one of the suspects was arrested by police officers Monday during a traffic stop in Chesapeake, Virginia. Fareen Rasheed Makeen of Jenkinsville is being held in the Chesapeake Correctional Center and Koon said his department would seek his extradition to Lexington County.

The second suspect was arrested on Friday night in West Columbia. Officials say Teresa Farris Epley of Swansea is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center without bond.

Arrests warrants in the case say that both Makeen and Epley were present and involved with the shooting death of Ryan Williams on Friday.
