CHELMSFORD, Mass. (AP) - Eight people have been taken to area hospitals following a three-car crash outside a Chelmsford restaurant.
Police say the crash happened Monday afternoon outside the Princeton Station restaurant.
Officials say the driver of a Honda Accord tried to turn left into the parking lot of the restaurant, but didn’t yield to oncoming traffic and was hit by a Nissan Altima. The Honda then spun out and hit a Subaru Legacy.
Six people in the Nissan were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A mother and a child in the Subaru were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Police say the restaurant did not sustain any damage.
The driver of the Honda likely will be cited for failing to yield when making a turn.
