CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Congressman Frank Guinta is down another opponent in the Republican primary to hold his seat.

State Rep. Pam Tucker of Greenland says she’s ending her bid for the seat to spend more time with her family, including her three daughters.

That leaves Guinta facing businessman Rich Ashooh. Guinta represents New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.

Tucker is the second potential Guinta challenger to leave the race. Businessman Dan Innis, who unsuccessfully ran in 2014, also bowed out after mounting a brief campaign.

Guinta’s poll number shows he is on perilous footing heading into his re-election. Last year the Federal Election Commission found he illegally accepted a $355,000 donation from his parents in a previous campaign.
