Man on bicycle injured in crash with school bus dies

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a bicyclist who suffered critical injuries after colliding with an Everett school bus has died.

The Daily Herald reports (https://goo.gl/qm872W ) the 52-year-old man died at an Everett hospital on Sunday.

Authorities say the man was knocked unconscious but was breathing after the crash Monday afternoon. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office hasn’t released the man’s name.

The bus was taking the Everett High School track team to a stadium when officials say the man on the bicycle ran a stop sign and hit the front of the bus after it entered the intersection.

Police say no students were injured. Everett police are investigating.
