FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a man was severely injured in a building explosion in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The Mining Journal and WLUC-TV report a gas leak is suspected as the cause of the Monday morning blast in Marquette County’s Forsyth Township. The man was taken to a hospital.
Police say there was a marijuana-growing operation at the scene.
The building has heavy fire and smoke damage. The fire was extinguished but fuel still was leaking from propane tanks supplying gas to the building.
