BEAR, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man who tried to rob a carryout by throwing a rock through the glass door fled without getting anything.

The agency said in a news release that about 1 a.m. Sunday, a masked man tried to enter the Domino’s Pizza on Pulaski Highway in Bear.

Police say the door was locked, and an employee in the store activated a security alarm.

Investigators say the suspect got a rock and threw it through the glass door. Officers say the employee ran out through a back door.

Police say the suspect got into the carryout, but left without taking anything.
