WEBSTER, S.D. (AP) - A man accused of fatally shooting another man in his Roslyn home is set for trial late this month.
The American News reports (https://bit.ly/1SIyShS ) that 44-year-old Jason Lewandowski is to stand trial beginning May 31 on charges including premeditated murder to which he has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Lewandowski is accused of shooting 33-year-old Jeremy Hendrickson in the head on Nov. 20, 2015. Hendrickson died of his injuries Dec. 9.
Hendrickson’s wife told authorities that her husband and Lewandowski had past issues, but no details have been released.
