DETROIT (AP) - An eatery housed in a shipping container is the latest addition to downtown Detroit’s Campus Martius park.
The Detroit News and WWJ-AM report that Fountain Detroit, which is scheduled to open this month, will serve snacks, sausages, sandwiches and salads. Covered in a geometric teal pattern, the revamped shipping container also will feature a bar and deck.
Fountain Detroit is part of a broader overhaul of food offerings at Campus Martius. The eatery replaces the former Beach Bar and Grill.
