ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico’s unemployment rate is holding steady.
The Department of Workforce Solutions reports that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.2 percent in April, unchanged from March.
The state’s economy added 3,000 jobs in April. All of the increase from March was in the private sector.
Industries with the largest job gains included information and trade, transportation and utilities as well as business and professional services and education and health services.
