SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Scottsdale police say a woman has been arrested in the shooting of her husband in the neck during a domestic dispute.
Sgt. Ben Hoster says 57-year-old Maria C. Soria was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence aggravated assault in the shooting of her husband. Hoster says the husband is hospitalized in extremely critical condition.
Hoster says the shooting’s circumstances remain under investigation but that detectives learned that the shooting was intentional and occurred during some type of domestic dispute.
The shooting occurred late Thursday afternoon.
It could not be immediately determined whether Soria has an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
