COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A 17-year-old suspected gang member has been convicted of aggravated murder and other charges for his role in a quadruple homicide during a robbery at a Columbus home last year.

Jordyn Wade was convicted Friday by a Franklin County jury. Authorities said Wade helped 28-year-old Robert Adams Jr. rob five people, then stand with his gun drawn while Adams shot the victims, one of whom survived.

Adams could face the death penalty if convicted during his trial scheduled for October. Wade wasn’t eligible for the death penalty because he’s a juvenile.

The Associated Press doesn’t typically name juveniles but is identifying Wade because he was tried as an adult. The slayings occurred when Wade was 16.

Wade’s attorney couldn’t be immediately reached for comment
