SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) - A sculpture depicting a boy riding on a bear’s back that was formerly displayed at a shopping mall has been unveiled at its new home at a Detroit-area library.

The Detroit News (https://detne.ws/1XDPT2e ) reports artist Marshall Fredericks’ sculpture “The Boy and Bear” was unveiled Thursday at the Southfield Public Library.

The sculpture was once at Northland Center, which is now closed. The city of Southfield acquired the sculpture and other art for $500,000.
