ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) - A former leader of a boys’ youth organization sentenced to prison on federal child pornography charges has admitted sexually assaulting two boys.

Union County prosecutors say 46-year-old Gregory Aker, of Linden, admitted to inappropriately touching the boys for his own sexual gratification.

The religious school teacher was sentenced last month to eight years in prison for having child pornography.

Aker was arrested in 2014 after police found computers and electronic storage devices in his home containing hundreds of images and dozens of videos of child sexual abuse.

Aker’s sentencing on the new charges is planned late next month. That prison term will run consecutively with his federal prison term for child porn.
