LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A person has been injured in an explosion and fire at a home in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Journal Star (https://bit.ly/1Ttf58M ) reports that crews responded to a fire following an explosion Friday night. Acting Lincoln Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg says one person was taken to a hospital with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.

Gegg says the cause of the fire is under investigation, but it appeared the fire was the result of a gas explosion.
