TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Northport man was killed and a second man was injured in a boat crash on Lake Tuscaloosa.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Reginal King said in an emailed statement that 63-year-old Robert David Reagan died after the boat he was operating hit a sea wall Monday night.

King says Reagan was not wearing a personal flotation device and was ejected from the vessel. King says a 38-year-old male passenger was also taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.

King says a preliminary investigation shows that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. Troopers in the Marine Patrol Division are investigating.
