LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a violent single-vehicle crash on Wilshire Boulevard killed one passenger and seriously injured the driver and another passenger.
Officials say the Chevrolet Camaro was likely speeding when it slammed into a parked van shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities closed Wilshire in both directions near Beverly Glen Boulevard while crews cleared the wreckage.
City News Service says the person who died was a passenger in the Camaro’s front seat. The conditions of those injured were not immediately available Tuesday.
Police are investigating.
