SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Two men have been found dead from apparent gunshots inside a car in Spartanburg.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said in a news release that 24-year-old Jeffery Woodruff and 30-year-old Allen Sullivan were dead when a woman walking around a neighborhood found them around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Spartanburg Police Maj. Art Littlejohn said neighbors told police there was a party nearby, but investigators haven’t determined if the men were at the party.
Littlejohn says it appears the men have been shot. Clevenger says an autopsy has been ordered to verify that information.
Littlejohn says no arrests have been made in the killings.
