FULTONDALE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are responding to a tanker truck fire north of Birmingham.

Birmingham Fire Rescue Service spokesman Capt. Bryan Harrell says the department sent its hazardous materials team to help firefighters in Fultondale respond to the blaze Tuesday afternoon.

Harrell says a tanker truck and a vehicle were involved in an accident and the truck caught fire and began leaking fuel.

Harrell says no injuries were reported.
