SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities have found the body of a man last seen in March when he left his family in their stranded van to find help.

Police say a local ranch hand discovered the body of 34-year-old Daniel Brown along a dirt road in southern Utah on Sunday.

Iron County Sheriff’s Lt. Del Schlosser says Brown was two miles away from the car, but his location under a tree made him hard to spot in the search.

Brown was unemployed and had been living in the van with his wife and four kids. They were found safe and given shelter in Cedar City.

Schlosser says Brown left the van wearing a T-shirt in snowy weather, and the conditions likely killed him.
