LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A former federal Transportation Security Administration inspector has pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge.

U.S. Attorney Chris Thyer said Tuesday that 54-year-old Raymond Kinney of Jacksonville pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography as part of a plea agreement.

A defense attorney for Kinney did not return an after-hours phone call Tuesday for comment on the plea.

Kinney was a Transportation Security inspector when he was arrested in January 2015 at a motel where prosecutors say he planned to meet with what he thought was a 10-year-old girl, but was instead undercover officers.

Thyer said that as part of the plea deal, prosecutors will recommend a 20-year prison term for Kinney when he’s sentenced at an as yet undetermined date.
