GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - A Gresham police officer shot and killed a 22-year-old man during a domestic violence call early Tuesday.

Officer John Rasmussen told KGW-TV (https://is.gd/x0BYBM) one officer shot the man after a confrontation on the street.

The officers had come to the home around 3:05 a.m. after multiple calls about a domestic violence situation between a man and a woman.

Rasmussen said the street was closed during the investigation. He did not know how many shots were fired and if there was an exchange of gunfire.
