VISALIA, Calif. (AP) - A hiker found dead last week along a trail in Sequoia National Park has been identified as a 26-year-old man from Orange County.

The Tulare County Coroner’s Office said Monday that an autopsy is planned for Cory Proud of Tustin.

The Fresno Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1YV7BwH) authorities received a report Friday evening that a hiker was having abdominal pain.

Two rangers hiked six miles to reach him, but he had died.
