LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say vandals spray painted graffiti on the sidewalk and doors of a Las Vegas High school, causing $1,500 in damage.

FOX5 (KVVU-TV) reports (https://bit.ly/1Rny5AZ ) that Clark County School District police are investigating the vandalism at Sunrise Mountain High School. Lt. Darnell Couthen says surveillance video shows that the graffiti was spray painted around 1 a.m. Sunday.

The graffiti references the class of 2015, but Couthen says it could be someone trying to incriminate that class.

There was also graffiti across the press box by the track field.

The school district police won’t release surveillance video because the crime is still under investigation.
